Got out of our family minivan at Value City with our 1 and 3 year old in our arms. We walked around for 10-15 minutes looking at cars. Went back and our car had been towed. A couple of good Samaritans told us that the tow truck watched us walk away with our babies and immediately towed our van. There were hundreds of cars and they chose to strand a family with no cell phones. There wasn't even a tow warning sign on the pole where we parked. The Good Samaritans let us borrow their phone and the tow driver was extremely rude and unsympathetic to our situation. They said we would have to come pick it up and pay $140 unless we had bought something from Value City that day. We had to get a ride from the Good Samaritans as we were stranded and they WOULD NOT bring it back. I showed them my Value City receipt and they STILL CHARGED US. The police were called and they said we'd have to take it up in court. $140 is less than court costs so it's uselsss. They are basically stealing cars and selling them back to you. They are the worst!

This guy, in my opinion, is real shady. At the least he has no shame. Tows people's cars from empty parking lots and charges $125 to get it back. You can have a car towed anywhere in the city for $75. Do business with this guy at your own peril.
