"UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP 9/19/19OKOZUSHI by Megumi redefines takeout sushi with their resource of "Super Frozen" or Aquaculture fish, usage of Haigamai rice and the integration of food technology. The sushi focused menu consists of staples such as Nigiri Sushi Omakase Set, Spicy Tuna Roll and Salmon Avocado Roll and hearty sushi bowls filled with seasoned rice, topped with raw fish. Appetizer selections are studded with traditional Japanese dishes such as Takoyaki with Dashi Dipping Sauce. Vegetarians are welcomed with veggie rolls and bowls."

Portions were absurdly small for the price and unlike the pictures on Grubhub The omakase was $35, the salad $7, totaling to $44. For a full meal per person you would need two entrees and two sides. *The salad was good, but was eaten in three bites.
The quality of the fish was really excellent. If you appreciate high quality fish then you'll like this place. Otherwise, it might feel a bit expensive.Food: 5/5
Tiny spot with amazing food & excellent service : tasty fresh fish!Food: 5/5
Movie night at home so I went to get Nigiri Omakase for takeout. 8 pieces of classic Nigiri Sushi Selections was great, fresh, delicious and good potion for my dinner. I'm glad this place is close to my home.Food: 5/5
This is my favorite neighborhood sushi spot! The quality of fish is incredible and you get such a good deal for your portion. The tuna salmon combo is great. The staff are super friendly and quick! Would highly recommend.
Service was absolutely amazing! Better than omakase places I've gone to. There's a wide variety of fish and only a few seats for dine-in, but the atmosphere is nice.Food: 4/5
I liked it but I probably wouldn't make the trek back; however if you've never had Kyoto style sushi or if you live nearby I'd say it's worth checking out. The prix fixe menu has three different price points: $25, $35, and $45. All three share the fish broth, the picked vegetables, six sushi pieces of the same fish and two pieces of what is essentially nigiri. The $35 option gets additional hand rolls and the $45 option gets additional hand rolls and sashimi. I had the $45 set but I think the real value is in getting the $25 option as I didn't find the hand rolls or the sashimi that compelling. The highlights of the meal are the "nigiri" and the broth; the sushi is decent but it leaves you ultimately wondering whether you'd rather not eat different types of fish rather than eat the same one seasoned differently.
Really phenomenal and high-quality sushi - they source the seafood themselves, combined with their rich experience and unique, minimal style. The menu is creative you choose only the portion, so kinda Omakase style. The blue-cheese sushi was mind blowing - that was my favorite that we ordered a special second portion just with that. The restaurant is small and minimal; it's really cute and has a peaceful vibe. If you have been to Okonomi or bought fish from Osakana, you might expected a sushi restaurant to come next from the owner. This place was begging to exist, now it's here. Good job.
Very small intimate setting. I came for their brunch which they serve Friday-Sunday. The food was beautiful and the pickled vegetables were really good. The price to raw fish ratio was a little off to me only about 8 pieces in my bowl; it was 60% vegetables. Definitely will come back to try the food again, although maybe their other dishes. Also, they do not request a service charge/tip.
Ordered omakase and bowl through UberEats. Both bowls had strong fishy smell and did not taste fresh.Food: 1/5
