Absolutely amazing people who truly care about animals. I literally just called them and the receptionist was such a sweetheart. She answered all of my questions and explained everything and most of all, gave me hope for the animal i found. Also, amazing volunteers who are so committed. If i could give more than 5 stars i would. Never had such great customer service :)

I had a very weird & awkward expierence here. My boyfriend and I came to adopt a kitten. The shelter as soon as you walk in smells of feces and vomit. The conditions for the animals were subpar. The two associates I worked with were very standoffish & cold. When we were looking at cats to take out most of the cats would not even come out  of the cages they seemed extremely scared which seemed suspect to me (they aren’t getting adequate excercise/time with humans). You would think a pet shelter with that many homeless animals would be on their toes to get them adopted to a loving home this place has no intrest in that.  I am a happy kitten owner and I am happy I went with the SPCA in the Freehold mall. I rather give money to an organization that cares about the welfare of animals then this hole in the wall.

Great staff but they never answer phone and they should be open More then 4 hours
