We hadn't been here in years but we decided to give it a try again while trying to escape the heat and smoke from the fires. I was instantly impressed with the menu and then our server Emily knocked it out of the park. I have newly discovered a love for beer and am trying new ones etc. She was such a help with walking me through the choices and bringing me tasters to try. She was friendly with the kids and just all around awesome. The food was great . The prices were very reasonable ... We will definitely be going back

We always have a great experience here. The only time we didn't was when we sat in the bar and only one person was running every table. My girlfriend and I are picky and we love traditional American food and beer. The beer selection is great, and we've never had anything to eat that we didn't like. There are plenty of "build your own" options for the people out there like us. Their rewards program is top notch!

Food was ok, nothing really impressive.  The service was the worst part.  Drink cup was constantly empty and waitress was no where in sight.  This occurred numerous times throughout the evening.  If the service was better I would recommend for a quick bite, but don't go here if you are in a hurry.

Sadly, we got the wrong server. We've waited for our food for 45 minutes, server did not even check on us to let us know that food in running late, my drink was empty, didn't get refill, I've asked mushrooms in my spaghetti pie, I've only got 4 slices! REALLY? 4? SMH!  
Hopefully, we get a better server next.

I just left there, I was really disappointed. I dined here nine years ago and the service and food was excellent. But today, it's a different story. My husband and I sat down and the server didn't serve us any water and bread, we had to request water from another server. Where the people next to us got water and bread from our server. I wanted to place a takeout order and was going to give my order to the server and she just walked away in disgusted and threw up her hands. My husband ordered another beer, and another server was going to give it to another table.  It's a shame, I get top notch service at Tom's Pancake House and the food is cooked throughly.  I will not dine or carryout food from Old Chicago on Evergreen again.
