The grave of the Kid, his buddies Charlie Bowdrie and Tom Folliard, and those of Maxwells, Salazars, Guiterezes, and cacti and lizards galore.... what's not to like? The museum has some nice artifacts, including Billy's butcher knife, and is run by really sweet people. Worth the time and then some.

Little museum and the supposed real grave of Billy The Kid.  Museum has a small amount of information about Billy The Kid but overall mostly community information.

フォート・サムナーにビリー・ザ・キッド博物館があります。
キッド関係の資料だけでなく、古い車、ガン、農耕具等非常に充実した施設で、見応えがありました。
キッドのお墓のレプリカもありました。
ビリー・ザ・キッドは本名をウイリアム・ボニーといい、ニュー・ヨークで生まれて、この地に流れてきて21歳の時、親友のパット・ギャレット保安官に射殺されました。
21歳で死ぬまでに21人の人を殺したそうです。
アメリカ映画『ヤング・ガン』を見ましょう。

フォートサムナーにはもう一つ『オールド・フォート・サムナー博物館』があります。
ここには、ビリー・ザ・キッドの本物のお墓があります。
『オールド・フォート・サムナー博物館』の裏手に檻の中にビリー・ザ・キッドの本物のお墓があります。博物館は有料ですが、お墓は無料で見られます。
友人と共に埋葬されています。
削られたり、盗まれたりと受難の末、この地に戻ったそうです。飾ってある花は、造花です。向かって右側が削られていますね。
キッドの墓石のかけら欲しさにこんなことをする人がいるので、この墓石は檻の中に入ることになりました。

フォート・サムナーは、先住民ナバホとアパッチが囚人としてこの地に送られてきた、いわば刑務所です。
歩いて来ることを余儀なくされた彼らは、
フォート・サムナーに着く前に多く亡くなり、またこの地でも多く亡くなりました。
約５年後、彼らは解放されて生まれ育った地に戻ったそうです。
フォート・サムナーの建物は、
