Old MacDonald's Farm is old and run down in places, but is still an excellent value and a lot of fun!  There are lots of animals to feed and pet, horses to ride, a train, multiple play areas, food, and seasonal activities. The staff here are all super nice. I live that there is just a simple entrance fee and then everything is free (except the food) unlike other farms we've tried. The 3 and 2 year olds with us loved the visit!

Yesterday I posted a negative review due to the rudeness of the young staff but since then I’ve been in contact with the owner. As an owner, I understand you are not always aware of what is truly going on in your absence. I was very pleased with her promptness in responding to my private Facebook message. I am confident that this behavior will be addressed. Changing my review from a “1” to a “5”!

I’m not sure how I feel about this place. I’m not convinced the animals are well taken care of. There is one animal there, I can’t remember what it’s called, but it looks like an over sized  Guinea pig. It was peeing and pooping on its self and laying in it. I asked them why and they said it was just old. If it’s that old then should it be out for public view like that? Poor guy. The deer didn’t look to well either. The price was high too for what it is. You see everything there is to see in 39 minutes.

Kind of shabby. Looks like it needs a good influx of cash to maintain & possibly upgrade. The grandson loved it though.

We waited in the pony ride line. One big horse (clearly can ride at least 150lbs) and one miniature horse. It says 100 lbs or less. When we got all the way through the line they said it was 12 and up. My daughter is 13 and right at 100 lbs..  disappointed the age limit was not posted and waited through in the entire line.
