Management is now placing people in a drawing to win items, gift certificates and other incentives for positive reviews. I have been here many times, and almost everytime was negative. 
From waiting 45 minutes just to get a drink, witnessing a customer taking glass plates from their own and others tables and throwing them into the river,  not being reprimanded by staff,  to meals being served cold after an hour or so wait, meals being served rare when request was well done, customers complain to be told the cops would be called on them by management, and rude servers who choose to attend to their cell phones more then customers.  New management has brought this place down to the point that they are now raffling off gift certificates for positive reviews.  I won't lie to win a $50 gift certificate to a place that's only positive is a great view of the damn and good music once or twice a week.  I want the old owners back so I can once again enjoy what was one of my favorite restaurants.

Great nachos, haddock chowder and baked haddock sandwich. Kate was a great server, checking on us numerous times. She also offered a " shorty" beer which was just right !

Hopping place. Excellent assortment of craft beers.
Fish Tacos are amongst the best I've had anywhere.

An amazing pub set right on the river. Parking is challenging but the public parking lot adjacent to the pub helps. Access to the pub is not handicap friendly but if you can make the walk it's well worth a visit. Very hard to see from the main road. The overall quality of the food was good and the service was fast. The prices were comparable with the quality of the food. Really enjoyed the whole experience

Normally I love the Old Mill Pub, but recently went there (on a Wednesday night, so not overly busy) and waited an hour for apps and another 45 minutes for the meal.   Food wasn't hot, so I assume it must have been sitting for a bit.  Also, when leaving, I observed a couple of workers taking a break (which they are entitled to) and smoking (not cigarette's) and then returned back to their jobs through the back door, which is visible to the public, and immediately start preparing food again.  They never washed their hands before returning to work.  I love going there for the atmosphere, but will definitely think twice before ordering off the menu again.  Very disappointing!
