Tried this place during the Eastern shore burger fest - the featured burger was a handful of deliciousness! We did it with a side of potato skins and words don't explain those - topped with real bacon these guys do not disappoint. We will definitely be back to try more menu items.Food: 5/5
The Derby steak was great. I appreciate the steak being cooked as ordered. Waitress was very polite. Veggies were crisp, portion size was good. Not often I'm out this way, but this was a wise choice to stop. If you do not order the mushrooms and onions with the derby steak, you are an unguided hedon.
Great pub to stop at on the way to or from the Beach. The food is really good and the menu is diverse. We had the Chicken Bruschetta Wontons, the clubhouse and the No. 7 Burger.Food: 5/5
Pleasantly surprised by the chowder, lovely flavour, ample size. Definite justice to Nova Scotia’s beautiful seafood, if you enjoy chowders I would highly recommend it.Food: 5/5
I’ve been coming here since the place opened in 2021 and have enjoyed the food, beverages, and great service. But jut today I ordered the Chicken BLT tossed in Buffalo sauce. How have I missed this for so long?! My new fave dish! Way to go, Will and crew!Food: 5/5
Some of the best " just like Mom's" food you can get. This restaurant opened during Covid, and they quickly became a staple in the community. They support local teams and organizations, going one step further than most to create that hub of the community feel. A hidden gem in Nova Scotia.... fantastic food..... the fish and taters are a must try! Dietary restrictions: They have many gluten free options!
Great pub on the eastern shore, was my first visit and it was excellent service! I tried the poutine and for 8$ as an appetizer it was great! Especially the portion size, was much bigger than I was anticipating! Also tried the No 7 burger and it was well seasoned and great flavor, including a side of tasty and great consistency mashed potatoes! Looking forward to trying something new next time I'm in the eastern shore!
Best wings around! Service is always extroidinary! Sticky Toffee Pudding is to die for! Atmosphere is pub style and can be a little louder with chatting and depending on the time of day and crowd. Seating is arranged nicely. Small stage area. Over table lighting is quite bright, and eye level if you are shorter. Keep in mind when choosing where to sit if you are sensitive to lighting. Awesome place, highly recommend.
We decided to try here as a close friend had said they had gotten much better over the years. Well I hate to leave a bad review but if your serving food like what we got, and we end up sick afterwards, I feel like it's a necessity. The only decent thing we were served were the boneless chicken wings, and they were just out of a package and fried. My mac and cheese was literally Annette's box brand like from a grocery store. The burger week burger I seen plastered all over facebook was honestly the worst burger I've ever tasted, and just a frozen patty, nacho cheese sauce mess. The potatoes skins were tasteless, and the kids poutines were meh, but one of them the fries literally tasted like they were cooked the day before. Then as we left we witnessed two of the kitchen staff out back dumping nasty whatever it was out of a very dirty, greasy looking pot. We looked at each other and laughed about what time our stomachs would start to bother us. Well unfortunately for me it was about 11pm. The waitress was nice but unfortunately that was about it. Lived in the area most of my life and have never gone till now, and will definitely not be going back.
Nice and clean eatery with a pub atmosphere. Ordered the seafood linguine and it was one of the best seafood/pasta dishes I've ever had. Lots of fresh seafood with a fresh piece of garlic bread accompanying it. This dish was easily one of my top three seafood experiences ever. Old No. 7 has taken this dish to the next level and the service was very personable and refreshing. Kudos to Melissa for her mixed humour and professionalism approach to her customers. Highly recommended!!
