Founded in 1954, the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society is a member supported organization dedicated to collecting and preserving evidence of our local history and to educating our citizens about the unique history of Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
The mission of the Old Orchard Beach Historical Society is to identify, acquire, organize, preserve, and make available historical documents, photographs, and artifacts pertaining to the history and culture of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. These materials are made available to local residents, visitors, students, and historical organizations. The Old Orchard Beach Historical Society holds these materials in trust for future generations.
