I have never been so insulted as I was at the MEMORIAL DAY PARADE. I go the parade to honor our veterans, as I am also a veteran. I DO NOT go to the parade to be inundated with politicians handing out business cards and marching in a parade to honor our vets. They were not even carrying a flag. I am sure that there are many more people who feel the same way. MEMORIAL DAY IS TO PAY TRIBUTE TO OUR VETS, NOT A POLITICAL ARENA. I hope there will be an apology for this blatant disrespect to all members of the military, they deserve more respect from the members of the NON-MEMORIAL DAY PARADE. I hope future parades will be politic-free. CAROLYNNNE BARDEN
