It is a wonderful old Inn.  No, it's not cheap, but if you want a hideaway spot in the country with wonderful, helpful owners and very good food, you found it.  Riverton is so small it isn't even a town - or a village - it's a hamlet!  And literally down the road and around the corner is the Hitchcock Chair Company - abandoned early this century, it's been reborn and has classic American furniture made the old way.  So have lunch at the Inn, shop for great furniture and come back to the Inn to be pampered for dinner and a fine room.

The Old Riverton Inn is everything you could ask for when it comes to a quaint New England B&B. The Telford's (Inn Keepers) are wonderful people and will do anything to help. The Inn usually organizes dinners on special events (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc), and they are fantastic fine dining with an amazing atmosphere. If you ever need to get bonus points with your significant other - a dinner and stay here will surely help!

What a cozy little getaway this place provides. The owners are so helpful and will do whatever you require to make your stay perfect. Be sure to stay in for dinner one night - really great traditional american cuisine. And the service is amazing.
