Absolutely loved this place. Very friendly communication, beautiful grounds, peaceful fountains and comfortable rooms. Loved hiking to nearby Hector Falls, a geological wonder.

The manor house is an architectural treat. The grounds are an historical beauty. A walk in the nearby woods is a trip down inspirational lane.

The Manor is absolutely a time capsul.  Intended for spiritual retreats, perfect for groups (we are planning to bring a small group from our church in the winter) or time alone.  The Manor sits on the most beautiful grounds right the small town of Ludlow, PA in the Allegheney National Forest.  More modern rooms available (without the distraction of televisions) in the Lodge, but the gems are the rooms in the Manor itself.  They are kept as close to the original grandeur and simplicity they once had.  I go to the area every year and only recently discovered that staying at the Manor is both inexpensive and a huge opportunity to enjoy the grounds, the many walking paths and sitting areas all around this wonderful place.
