Horrible service and damaged product!! I have been going to Olsen's for about a year now even though I dont live close by (its about 30 miles for me one way.) I spend many hundreds of dollars there on treats, chews, toys, and dog food when I go there. I have a working K9 and he is extremely important to me. Twice I have had issues with the dog food I got from them now. I buy Orijen kibble, which is one of the most expensive you can buy and is hard to find in the area. The last two times, I have had issues with the dog food I bought from them. The time before last, the kibble was smashed up, most was like dust. Like someone had been throwing the food bags around. I went in with photos of the kibble and a lady there told me to bring in the bag when I was done with it for a discount on the next bag (since I keep the food in the bag and was about half way done with it at that point.) I was OK with that. When I brought in the bag after it was empty like she asked me to, the owner, a grumpy old gal, (who wasnt part of the earlier conversation when I brought in the photos) said that she will not give me any kind of discount because I didnt bring in the bag with the dog food still in it! The lady that told me she would give me a discount was standing right there at the counter and said nothing. She came outside after I was loading stuff into my car and said she was sorry and would talk to the owner about it and call me the next couple days... I never got a call. Then when I went in again to buy more dog food, both the owner and the same lady were at the counter. The lady that said she would call me never even said a  word to me and the grumpy old owner lady didnt say a word to me either. Not one. After getting home with the second bag of dog food, I realized that the bag had been taped up! There were a few holes in the bag (look like slices with a knife) that they taped over with clear tape. As expensive as the dog food is, that is totally unacceptable!! You dont sell that!! Or if you do, you offer a big discount. I am so angry at this point, am looking for somewhere else to go. For the amount of money I spend there, I deserve to be treated way better than I have been treated here. I own a business and would never treat my clients like they do! Especially someone that spends so much money and has a working K9.

Great selection of high quality dog and cat foods at affordable prices. 100 times better than Petsmart and Petco. Will always get our pet foods from Olsens. Staff is helpful, friendly, and well informed about their products.

I used to shop at Olsen's grain pretty regularly yesterday and being the last time. Customer service has dramatically gone down hill the last few times I've been in there. Yesterday morning the lady at the register was very unfriendly and rude. She was unable to answer any of my questions and Apparently having a check me out was a big inconvenience to her. Then she asked me on if he can load pay for me and his response was I'll do I can do it in a minute so I waited by the car like she instructed me to and he never came. One of the other men (native for lack of better ways do describe him since i didnt get a name) who was loading the truck at the time came over after loading another truck and said he saw me waiting there is there anything I needed help with. I told him what happened and he said he would be willing to help. The employees are becoming more rude everytime I go in and most of their stuff is quite a bit more expensive than the other local stores so yesterday will be the last day that I will do business with them. I'll buy feed and all my other supplies for our 38 animals elsewhere!
