I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in late march of this year. Following my colonoscopy by Dr.Eck on which the lesion was found I was immediately referred to Dr. Rasque in Springfield to confirm the diagnosis. When that was confirmed Dr. Rasque conferred with Dr. Morgan my oncologist and Dr. Barrett my radiation oncologist. They worked together to plan and implement my care. I did not tolerate chemo therapy and was hospitalized at OMC. Every department admissions, out patient surgery, imaging, dietary, housekeeping and nursing worked as a team to see that myself and my family were treated in an exemplary manner. I have now finished my treatment only time will tell if the cancer is completely gone but I rest in the knowledge that everything that could be done was done and I couldn't have received any better care in this nation.
