A group of us went here for dinner, and some of us liked the food, some of us didn't. Their menu is far too diverse for the chefs to be able to do it all well, and they seem to be trying to hide that with their huge portion sizes and timely service. I had a chicken sandwich that was too dry to eat and incredibly bland sweet potato fries. One of my children ordered from the kids menu and got a mountain of mini corn dogs (with a thin slice of melon in lieu of french fries upon request), my other child was too distracted by the generous (and tasty) bread & muffin basket to eat anything from the menu -- as even an only somewhat health-conscious parent I'm not likely to take my kids there again. The steak-eaters among us were pleased, though. I got German chocolate cake for dessert which was a little dry but had lots of delicious frosting and the dessert was very pleasing overall. If you go here, find what they do well and stick to those menu items.

Drove over 45 miles to come here, and it is absolutely amazing, the food, customer service and the atmosphere. It's just amazing the soup is just out of this world. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants good food for a good cost. You get a very large amount of good food for very cheap!

A good place to get a tasty meal. The service was fast and friendly. Be sure that you save room for the dessert. They have a great selection of items that are made in house. I had the Lemon meringue.

Last night, I got off work and thought it would be nice to go out to dinner with my husband. We stopped at the Omega Restaurant in Downers Grove. We've eaten there before and it became our favorite place to eat. That changed last night. My husband, family or myself will never eat there again. I should've paid attention to the red flags when i had to send my saganaki back twice. The first time it looked like breaded soup. The second time it was under cooked. By the time the third time came around, I didn't care. We told the owner (?), Greg. All he kept saying was, 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry....' So, was I. My husband ordered an olive cheeseburger on an onion roll. He turned the top of his bun over and it was a sesame bun. The waitress brought an onion roll to the table. When my husband fixed his cheeseburger, he discovered the cook had put the bottom of his sandwich an onion roll. But, the top was sesame seed..... I don't know.. We got more I'm sorries. It was too late. We both came home and we were sick for the night. Not saying the food was bad in that way. It was bad, though. And, Mr. Greg.... we will never step through the doors of the Omega Restaurant, again.

Best Restaurant in Chicago Suburbs for home cooked food especially breakfast. Excellent fresh bakery goodies. Reasonable prices and large portions. Friendly servers and the owner on site. They serve a variety bread basket and keep your drinks topped off. Highly recommend for brunch or just a good cup of coffee. I don't give 5 stars but if I could I would give Omega 6 stars!!!
