On The Hill Gallery offers original art in many media, including watercolors, oil paintings, photography, jewelry, pottery, sculpture and woodworking.
The Yorktown Arts Foundation was created in 1976 to promote an appreciation of the arts in the York County area, by providing a venue for art sales by local artists, art education, art outreach, and generally promotes art appreciation and participation in the visual arts. Throughout its history, the Foundation has remained committed to its original objectives to promote and support the arts through programs and other endeavors for the benefit of the citizens of York County and the surrounding area. By operating a gallery, the Foundation provided an opportunity for local and regional artists to display their works. Further, through the conduct of featured shows, many of which are juried, our artists are provided an opportunity to showcase their work for the public, and to increase their knowledge of art through the association with other artists and jurors.
