The food is still good but it was as great when we first came here 8 or 9 years ago. We ordered halo-halo as desert, and the shaved ice is not as fine as other halo-halo places we've been to. We were craving for sisig, Ongpin's versions is too salty, could hardly taste the vinegar.

1 star for the waiting in line just to order take out as they don't answer the phone. They need to either get younger faster employees or establish a better system with the ladies they have. As far as food I ordered Sisig to go and it was ok. Still on my search for both good service and Sisig

If you are into filipino food, their Bistek Tagalog is tasty and their Laing is excellent. Their sotanghon is also good. The other dishes are so-so. Avoid their chicken/pork adobo, very oily and does not taste good. Their lechon (full roasted pig) is a hit or miss.

Ordered pork sisig to go, and noticed rite away that the serving has considerably gone down in "weight". It's either the togo plastic container is smaller or the amount of sisig itself is less than usual now. I order takeout from Ongpin at least twice a month so this is something that struck me rite away. Hopefully this is not an indication of shrinking quality of food either.
