There has been a lot of work done over the years to change the park into something everyone can enjoy. While there is on going thought as to what's next, many other business people are developing around the outside of the park as the future of the waterfront is made reality

Ontario Beach was a great place. It was just like a real beach. They have sand down by the water. There is huge picnic areas where you can have cookout. Or just chill on the beach. You can also borrow sand toys and water toys from the lifeguard station. The lifeguards are all very friendly. If you need Any assistance they are available. Was a great day!

Good place for a walk along the beach or out to the lighthouse. There are a few pavilions with grills for picnics and/or large groups. The carousel is fun but it's usually pretty crowded, especially in the summer. Finding a place to park is never an issue, as they have a very large parking lot. There are also several good restaurants nearby. Probably not the best place to be late at night - we lived down the street and it seemed like there were always police responding to something down there. We never had any issues while we were there during the day or early evening so I'm sure it's fine. That was just our observation. Still a fun little park.

Went to Abbott's for a custard. Then a walk on the pier. It was nice
