not that great of a school. they keep suspending me for dumb sh** that wasn't even my fault and they made josh Cecil retarded and later forced him to leave this school. The slushes at lunch are really good tho!! #freeturbodieselcecil

Michael Sheppard, the principal is now a different person, and I find her to be quite delightful and kind. The other principal you're talking about was from a different time period I'm supposing? If you went there about 20 or 30 years ago, then obviously she would say something like that. One of my friends who went there around that time was bullied because of her race, which was Indian. It's not like you were bullied just because you are black. And I agree, some people are stupid. But I think Ooltewah's improved in the last 30 years. You just have to see!

If you are planning to send your child to this school then don't! The school doesn't care about any of the students and even punishes others for no reason and when I mean everyone, I mean the students that usually get outstanding grades on everything. The school staff members need to improve their communication skills especially the new principal.

I'm currently a senior here and over 4 years I've been going here there's been a scandal 3 out of the 4 years but it hasn't effected my education at all. When looking for schools my family focused on education not the news coming out of the school. The STEM program is fantastic, I've been in it all of high school and 80% of kids who are in the program pursue a field in engineering or something computer related.

Principal Teresa Harvey once told me that I was a threat to the whole school because I was black. And I'd be better off getting my GED. So I know how Ooltewah is. I never dressed out in gym class at Ooltewah Middle strictly because of Coach Evans. So I failed because of gym class
