Excellent selection of used books. The store is inside DeVargas Mall. They have a well-curated fiction / literature section, a lot of nice hardbacks at very reasonable prices. An excellent collection of first editions, many signed. I found a sweet Modern Library of Damon Runyon for only $10. Likewise a reading copy of Olson’s Call Me Ismael for $6.50. Essays and the Books about Books sections were respectable. They also have an excellent section of local Santa Fe authors. Like all good bookstores, the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. There are plenty of chairs in which to peruse possible purchases. The staff is very knowledgeable without being snobby and knew the store like the back of their hand. Used bookstores are only as good as the community that brings their books in to sell or trade. By all appearances, there is a great community around Op. Cit. Books.

Fantastic bookstore with well edited sections and lots of comfy chairs. Staff selections are always on target, and there's a free books cart outside which is often stocked with wonderful treasures.

This is a great bookstore...unfortunately, it is located in De Vargas Shopping Center which I avoid like the plague.  Why De Vargas keeps dishonest Wells Fargo Bank in their shopping center confounds me.

The owners were extremely nice and helpful. There was. pretty good selection of books, and great prices. I recommend a visit!
