Best Egg Rolls I have ever had! Excellent variety of choices on the menu. Staff is very friendly. Took family from out of town there this evening. Everyone really enjoyed their food and the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had an early Friday evening visit to the Open Door.  There wasn't any other diners there at the time.  We were seated in the very back by a set up for a wedding party.  When I asked if we wouldn't interfere with the wedding party, I was told oh no, we would be just fine.   We waited about 10 minutes before my husband got up to see if anyone was going to wait on us.  After several more minutes, a nice young waitress came and apologized saying she wasn't told we were there.   The wedding party people were still decorating and was a total distraction to our meal.  Why we were seated in such an odd place still mystifies me.  The food was just so so nothing I would return for.  I had the chicken parm and my husband had the catfish and fires.  We had the egg rolls, they are supposed to be famous for, and I couldn't eat them for all the spiciness.  All in all it was not a good experience.  Won't be going back.  The reason for the 3 stars is hopefully we were just there on a bad night and I don't want to hurt any small business.

Wonderful bar with a rich history and great food. A place to hang out, talk with the owners, and have a great time. The atmosphere is a place you can relax with food, music, and exclusive drink menu with high gravity beer on tap.

minutes we waited for a server, never saw one! Not so much as a glass of water. We were not the only ones in dining room area. Finally got someone elses server, and explained we had been sitting waiting for that long, she apologized and moved on!  Explain to me please how this actually happened. It is the reason we go to Cleveland to eat. What a shame to treat people like this. Never again.

The owner is an ass hole, you'll love him!!! Great people, great food, great drinks. Always a good time.
