Just had a birthday party here, pre-paid for a booth, anyone in MY party (16 women total) that came after 11pm had to pay $20. A few of them had never been there before and were ONLY there because of me so the cover price was unexpected. Other Detroit clubs have AT LEAST  ladies FREE before 11pm or reduced cover charge if your with a party but Opyum doesn’t. They did a drink special that’s why I gave them 2 stars but you need cash because they charge fees if your using credit/debit cards. You also might want to get drinks yourself because waitress are busy and “may” create their own drink price in order to get a free tip. The building is small and they don’t have security directing people which could help. An argument broke out and security wasn’t in sight but when my party member danced standing in the booth and she was rudely TOLD to sit down instantly. It was a little too much rap for me, if you want to be Birthday party central it’s plenty of R&B and Hip-Hop songs that someone (Mainly Female) want to hear on their birthday. I would NOT have another Birthday party here and I would NOT pay $20 to ever enter, it’s not worth it. If your not getting into Opyum free I would look for another club, you’ll save some money.

This is a nice club but the parking is ridiculous.  They are very crowded in the weekends and to get a good spot you should go right before they open or by nine to get a good parking spot.

They have good food specials during the week. Music is hip hop and rnb. they've been getting more busy lately. Wednesday is all you can eat crab legs.

Cool, but why do you have reserved seating throughout the ENTIRE LOUNGE? There is no where to sit unless you sit at the bar and thats IF there are seats left. Seems like they just trying to get money. Make it comfortable for your patrons. I know you are out to make money but at least leave some free seating!

For the food, music, and service 5 stars! But charging me 10% to use my card and no eyecandy,  zero stars!
