Your local animal hospital may actually be better than Oradell. I've been going to Oradell for years, only because my dog's surgeon was there. Not a good reason at all. The only really outstanding doctors are the board certified surgeons. They are very good... but the rest of the vets?  They are worse than local vets near me and many are young students. The older doctors have quite snippy attitudes at times and I've yet to find a thorough vet there. They have you coming back and spending a ton of money with no real insight or solutions. They do not have a board certified dental vet, so they just always say... 'oh the dog's teeth are okay'. Well, twice now my dog has had massive infections. I now have to travel to a board certified dental vet. They have a long waiting list for teeth cleaning and discouraged me from doing it. I've had enough. Good grief, they never opened my dog's mouth to look inside. I had to open my own dog's mouth and ask them to look inside! The one surgeon I used was outstanding, so I'll give the place three stars. Have a good local vet and only use Oradell for specialists. I found a local vet that was so much better than any vet at Oradell for a check up. I finally feel I have solutions.

My dog suffered a sudden catastrophic illness over Labor Day weekend. The staff diagnosed the issue right away and did not for a second try to sway us to try unnecessary tests or treatments even though surgery would have enhanced their bottom line. Very honest and skilled and caring. They treated everyone from our beloved Charlie to me and my children with professionalism and compassion.

Arrived with my 3 hounds for scheduled appointment, seen in a timely manner.  Doctor was very through in his exam of all 3.  Some health issues with the old man,  and discussed some possible alternatives to treat/follow up.  Called back with the old mans labs and again discussed alternate options.  Will check back in about 3 mos. while keeping on eye on him for any abrupt change in activity.

Tonight my girlfriend and I found ourselves in need of bringing our cat to the vet after suffering a back injury and our options were limited at 11:30pm. We came across Oradell and made the 20 minute drive. I’m glad we found this place because we had a great experience. The facility is very clean and done well and the wait time was not bad at all. The doctor immediately identified the issue and we left with a medication regimen and plan to get our cat back to her old self!

They charged me almost 6 thousand dollars to treat my German Shepherd. He was positive to Lyme disease and kidneys failure. They just reas the tests from another vet. I went to Cranbury animal hospital and they treated my dog. They hospitalized my dog 4 days. They are really good and treated my dog really nice. I had to pay less than 3 thousands dollars. My dog is home now. 90% he still fighting.
I received the bill from Oradell emergency office for $180 . They didn’t do any test and we were just 10 minutes at the office.
