Beautiful place. The decorations were such a mixture, just kept looking around and finding something new. Like a skateboard/chandelier that just seem to fit in and look cool. The food was delicious according to my group. I wasn't able to really eat much since i had just eaten. Would love to come back to try their menu better.Food: 4/5
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. While I was able to enjoy some of the meal, the overall experience was mediocre. We did an intimate girls’ brunch to celebrate a friend’s birthday - it was only 4 people and the restaurant was pretty empty. The service felt slow and took a bit if we needed something. I thought the apps we ordered were delicious, including my entree! Our one friend only ordered another drink for herself but everyone at the table was brought another round. However, since I did enjoy some of the meal I would potentially reconsider revisiting another location that is closer to me to try again.
Orale is top notch Mexican cuisine! From cocktails to desert, the experience was spot on! You will love everything about this place! And, they even give you cool postcards to keep or share! Can't wait to go back! God Bless Blue & Gold! God Bless America!
Visited multiple times with friends and family. Ambiance is great. Food is pretty good but menu gets a bit boring for vegetarians with not enough options. Service inconsistent and slow at times.Food: 4/5
Orale was "meh" - the atmosphere was great but the food and price point were just a bit disappointing. SERVICE: - 10/10 for friendliness and for a very polite server, however... - 5/10 for the amount of wait staff that CONSTANTLY came over to clean our table, ask us if we wanted anything else, etc. It was SUPER overwhelming. As soon as you were done with your plate, someone was there to take it away. Had an empty drink - someone came immediately to remove it from your table. It was honestly way too much checking in. We didn't even take a bite of our meals and our waitress had come over to ask how it was... It seemed like they just wanted you to eat and get out. FOOD: - 3/10 Eat My Guac tasting of 3: we had chosen the following as our 3: 1. Guacamole Casa, 2. Camaron, 3. El Naco. All 3 really lacked any sort of flavor. Their basic guacamole needed some sort of acid or salt with it. The pork belly on the El Naco was soggy and not crispy, and the shrimp looked like they would've had the most flavor and nothing. - 2/10 Machin Tacos: the flavor was OK, but the taco was filled with cabbage and barely any crispy pork belly again, which was not crispy. I was also super disappointed because the description of the tacos was "roasted bone marrow" - so I thought I would've been able to eat the bone marrow. To my surprise, the bone marrow was hallowed out and there was nothing in the bones. Your tacos basically came on top of the empty bone marrow bones. So you pay $23 for cabbage tacos. - 5/10 Carnitas: these weren't bad, but not a ton of flavor. The tacos mind you are very small and don't come with much meat, it's mostly the other fillers. DRINKS: 10/10 Watermelon: this was the best thing we had while we dined. There was a great hint of watermelon and it was a light and refreshing drink. The only "confusing" part was that there was a little watermelon candy attached to the drink, which was cute, but we couldn't figure out of you were supposed to eat or drop it into the drink? It was interesting to eat it on it's own - it was salty and then spicy once you got to the middle and tasted like a Now and Later candy? Overall, I wouldn't return. It was a cool vibe but other than that, the restaurant was extremely disappointing in the lack of flavor in their food, and the portion of the proteins in their tacos - they definitely use the less expensive ingredients to fill their tacos/appetizers. For the price, they need to reevaluate what they're giving you in terms of protein in the entrees/appetizers. Parking: Parking is a nightmare in Morristown - it's paid meter parking during certain hours and you have to parallel park.
Really enjoyed brunch here! The servings were generous, the food was delicious, and the service was great.
We had vegetarian and I forgot the taco dish. The presentation is nice, the flavors were there but a bit can decrease a couple of spices. The cabbage in my dish was confusing tasting bc too many spices.. cabbage itself has a nice peppery flavor and I think all it needed was good olive oil and lemon with cilantro. Nice ambiance, hostess was very accommodating.. Thank you
Really interesting takes on Mexican fare with a cool vibe and atmosphere. Everyone loved their dishes. Guacamole tasting was super fun. Highly recommend this place.Food: 5/5
#TacoTuesday 50% off select tacos if you pay with cash!!! And the tacos are superb!! Definitely recommend guacamole tasting it’s amazing. We have been to other locations of Orale this one is the best food, service and ambiance. The place gets crowded during dinner time so will always suggest making reservations and they only assign table once entire party is present.
AMAZING FOOD! We came here after they did the renovation and WOW! The place looks incredible stylish and cozy. Very Instagrammable Service was exceptional and very fast! Food was incredible! I liked their plating and presentation. You can tell Chef putting a lot of effort to every dish he sends. My favorite dish was Octopus very crispy outside and tender inside. As a Chef myself I can tell it’s very hard to cook octopus perfectly. Also we enjoyed Ceviche, Tacos, Steak, Bao Buns, Guacamole, Desserts! I honestly was so impressed by every dish and its flavors! Cocktails were great too btw! It’s definitely my favorite restaurant in Morristown from now on! I’ll definitely come back and recommend it to my friends! Thank you, Orale!
