An absolute must. There's a line early in the morning and for good reason: apple uglies. If you eat anything while in Hatteras, eat this. It's delicious.

This place was a great find.  The bakery items here are amazing.  The breakfast sandwiches are HUGE and are not very expensive.  The sandwiches are made on house made bread.  We were able to spliy one sandwich between two people.  Grab a few lunch sandwiches to go for the beach!  There is usually a few minute wait here but it is worth it.

This is one of our favorite places on the island. We discovered it years ago by happenstance and I'm so glad we did! Everything here is great. Their donuts are some of the best I've ever had, and their breakfasts are great too. Delicious food and friendly staff. They're popular though, so get there early or be prepared for a short wait, even in the offseason.

I tried the apple uglies, double dipped donut holes, and a donut - all melt in your mouth delicious! The java coffee was great with my chocolate donut. There are so many other pastries that I wanted to try, so multiple visits may be required. I'm going to make another trip there before I leave Avon. It is a very popular place open limited hours, so the line may be long but moves pretty quickly. The parking is also pretty scarce, so you may have to squeeze in or park elsewhere and take a short walk. Worth it!

Absolutely love this place, hit here every time we're in Hatteras. Breakfast sandwiches and pastries best on the island. My wife and I have been coming here for years, never disappointed. Sausage egg and cheese on a croissant is a must and of course Apple Uglies! The secret to getting in and getting food at Orange Blossom is get here early!!!
