I wandered into this shop almost 10 years ago and never regretted meeting Amy and her staff. Amy, the shop owner, has been doing my hair from the beginning. The prices are reasonable and cost less if you bring your own hair. Amy and her staff are extremely personable and the atmosphere in the shop is fun and inviting. Their experience and expertise has gotten me to change my main style of 1B wet and wavy to try different styles from crochet braids to weaves. I have tried a lot of different colors, as well. Amy has always checked to make sure I liked the color before completing the job and after she finishes, if I change my mind and do not like the color I chose, she has offered me a deal on fixing my hair. Her new address is 771 Campbell Avenue, though. The location is great and their is ample parking. Over the years, I have personally witnessed Amy provide service for lots of customers who resides near her shop and some who even travel to her store from towns farther away, from Bridgeport to Windsor. I have also witnessed Amy dealing with all types of customer. She is fair and has tried to always remain friendly, but there are some customers who you can not please no matter how hard you try. I will continue to frequent Orange Hair Braiding.

As a regular customer I have nothing but praise for this salon and it’s owner. The service is amazing and high quality. I have gotten single braids, crochet braids, and twists here and they lasted a long time. The atmosphere and customer engagement is friendly and sincere! You won’t be disappointed if you go to Orange Hair braiding!

I went here on numerous occasions and they did a beautiful job. I asked for two strand twists and they came out exactly how I wanted. The owner is a very good person. The atmosphere is well suited, clean, and a good place to bring kids. You will not regret going here!!!

I have been going to Amy for several years now.  She is personable, professional and listens to what her clients needs are.  great braiding without the long long hours of sitting.

Overly priced for terrible quality braids. Showed braided pictures of desired style and length and she did not deliver. Left salon very dissatisfied!!!
