As Durango’s original Steakhouse, the Ore House has been serving the finest steak, lobster, and spirits in town since 1972. We have a strict adherence to the concept that a finished product is only as good as the ingredients that go into it. For this reason, the Ore House’s food and beverages are created by a team of chefs that are passionate about sourcing fresh, wild, seasonal, regional, and responsibly harvested ingredients. Featuring antibiotic and hormone free local beef, sustainable wild caught seafood, free-range poultry, and farm to table ingredients. Our Bar and Kitchen staff prides themselves in making everything to order from scratch. Although the cuisine is focused around the steakhouse concept we offer numerous vegetarian options and something for all ages and appetites. The Ore House Restaurant also offers a full bar with an excellent wine cellar to find that perfect drink to complement your meal. We also create a variety of fine cocktails that are based around using liquors from local distilleries.
