Exceptional. Every aspect of the stay was a pleasure. The cave tour was fascinating. The downstairs diner was just great. I wish I could go there every Sunday for lunch! The cozy room was such a joy to stay in. We were on the top floor and had a lovely view. The surrounding hikes were pleasant and had some nice variety of lengths and difficulty. The fine dining restaurant made for a very nice end to our day. The lodge itself is truly an incredible place inside and out, beautiful really. Every member of the staff was excellent. My expectations were well exceeded. Expensive but worth it. I hope to visit again someday.

Gorgeous marble (not limestone) caves, would visit again and take a different tour just to see more. Our guide Olive was knowledgeable and friendly. I think the kids in the group had a great time. Learned a lot and had a great time. Outside temps were 31 degrees and caves were about 44, so more comfortable inside than out. The drive from Cave Junction is pretty and road gets pretty narrow. Want to visit when the Chalet is open but the gift shop and the staff there were great, very helpful!

A rustic experience as a park, Oregon Caves NM is far away from just about everything. In other wards, come prepared. A twisty road leads high into the park. Other than a close-by campground, there is a visitor center (warm sweatshirts can be purchased here, in case, if taking the cool cave tour), and a beautiful old Chateau for lodging with a small (snacks) store and restaurant. There is no cell service or internet, so plan on spending your time enjoying the scenery. It’s gorgeous. If you’re into hiking countless stairs in the damp and dark (some people might not be able to physically climb inside the cave, check with tour office), a fantastic cave tour awaits you. Definitely worth the twisty drive, with or without the cave tour. Reservations probably needed on high volume weekends/times.

Great tour. Make sure to eat or share a dessert in the lodge. Nice local staff.

We have meant to go to the candle light tour forever, and I am glad we did. The off trail tour is a wonderful experience, can't wait for next summer
