Used to work there until idiots I worked with in maintenence caused me to get a couple concussions and spinal injury. Tried to keep working but they finally showed me the door after I couldn't sue anyone; and complained I needed more time off. Lazy good for nothing people. My boss would tell us to get to work so he could work on a personal projects. He never actually did anything. And my administrator wasn't qualified. He still owes me for the mri I had he said he got sorted with workers comp and they would pay for it. He tried to keep getting rid of me from the department. I fixed a lot of things they used to call a contractor or an electrician, and I was promised a raise for years. I was told I couldn't take my breaks; being out voted because they liked to come back to the shop and watch R rated movies like Porkys. Boss was racist and brought in the most racist old movie. And said racist terms when there was only white people around. Was told not to be friends with the black custodian. And more than one person who had worked there told me they felt he bossed them around based on their color. And they hire and give raises based on nepotism and longevity instead of skill and effort. I can barely be a laborer after my injuries but I loved fixing things for the schools and just tried to go to work everyday and felt they would take care of me and that I could just use my sick time. Boy was I wrong. I should have not worried about creating a big workers comp claim because now I've been barely able to work or hold a job. And homeless off and on and lost everything since 12/2014. They just called me a complainer and an alcoholic so I became one. I should have never worked there because they just used my skills and work ethic and disabled me for life. I saved them way more than they paid me and they owed me better. If only I would gone to the hospital and found a better doctor. Over the years my injuries and being used made me bitter. They should drug test those people. My leaving had nothing to do with alcohol as they claim but me using my time off and angry I was never going to get better. They have plenty of alcoholics, people on pain killers, suboxin, cocain. Drug test these people and send your kids to a charter school. They took my whole future and they don't care. I don't get to have a life worth waking up to and I got to and still try to make a living which has has become impossible. Wish I never worked there
