The Original General Store in Pittsfield, VT is the quintessential Vermont General Store. Located just four miles from the base of Killington on scenic Route 100, The Original General Store offers market-driven breakfasts, lunches and dinners, a variety of locally crafted artisanal products, a 500 bottle wine cellar, Vermont cheeses and charcuteries and everyday sundries and essential items. From grass-fed beef, farm fresh eggs and organic chocolates to freshly pressed juices, maple syrup and penny candy, we seek to offer the finest products Vermont has to offer.

Like all the best New England general stores we serve as hub to the variety of activities that take place here in the birthplace of the Spartan Race series.
