Less than 15 min from walk-in to order being ready. The owner is super friendly. You can tell he is passionate about what he's doing and that just makes eating the food so much more enjoyable. I also appreciate how simple the menu is.  The veggie sarnie sandwich is massive! Wife and I split one and we're stuffed... The picture is one sandwich he split into two boxes for us. The fries were a little salty but quite possibly on par with any of the best fries I've had and not greasy.  The cheesy bread and marinara were good, the garlic butter is amazeballs, the cheese pizza was acceptable but I'd need to try some with toppings before I made a decision. However, my kids loved it.  In summary, I overate and wish to give my compliments to the chef. If I lived here I could see this place easily becoming a favorite.  FYI - This place is in the old Bruno Hometown Pizza building.

This is truly the "original" Home Town Pizza. They've been in various locations in the area for over 30 years and have consistently been our favorite. Both their pizzas and sandwiches are out of this world-appropriate since they are in Moon. Seriously though, the quality is outstanding and you can tell these guys take great pride in putting out a fantastic product. Dine In or Take Out - either way you will not be disappointed.

Visiting Pitt for work and this is a wonderful place to stop for fresh pizza made as you order.  Plenty of tables and was greeted with a smile.  I got the 12” omnivore minus mushrooms and it was a real treat!

Just moved to the area from Virginia and wanted to find a go-to pizza place. The guy behind the counter was very polite and welcoming. We ordered a Sausage and Pepperoni and an Omnivore pizza. They were both delicious and the crust was perfectly crispy. Even my 9 year old said the pizza was amazing. Definitely will be returning here!!! Perfect place to go if you like thinner crust pizza!

Both of the items we got were amazing! The Italian sandwich was my favorite because of the homemade bread. All around a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back!

This is my new go to place when I'm staying near the airport.   Got the 1/2 Italian sandwich,  yes its huge,  and the fried mushrooms.   Everything was delicious.

The best pizza around! The sauce is great, the crust is amazing. It's delicious! The owner is very kind as well.

I don't normally rate or leave reviews but I am truly impressed with Original Hometown Pizza in Moon. This has to be some of the best pizza I've ever had. The ingredients are high quality and the crust is super light and fresh. My only regret is not trying it sooner! 10/10 highly recommend and will be returning for more pizza soon.

Got the half sandwich and a half order of fried pickles definitely more than I expected. The sandwich was a little dry. Aside for that, everything was great.

A local pizza place that is hands down best pizza place in moon township. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere and plenty of sitting ares. I would highly recommend.
