Very cool little replica in n out. Only open Thur-Sun 11am-2pm tho. I was able to park even though it was closed. The driveway is not busy and there's one spot to park in but the rest of the lot is closed by gate. Not sure if parking is in that lot during the operating hours or not. Nobody bothered me or my car while I took photos from outside the fence. Loved it, will have to visit again when it's open!
In-N-Out burger store is ubiquitous in CA. The first original store opened in Oct 1948 at 04:15 pm and was the first burger joint in the state of CA. This tiny store is no bigger than a trailer but it mak3s delicious burger 'n fries. Back then no body cares about calories or the obesity epidemic. Their drive thru was cute as well as their menu. Working area was limited to two staff only. Not to mention it has a mini bathroom! It's prices were relatively affordable. Hours were limited. Parking was easy. Overall, I'm glad I visited this CA food landmark.
I love that they turned thi IN -N-OUT to a museum. I remember going with my family wen we were young early sixties. We enjoy hang around in high school. Hamburger are the best. Good memories.
As an In- n-Out fan I was glad I finally stopped to see the replica of the first In-n-Out it’s a nice time capsule and though small in size its interactive . And. Just down the street you can enjoy a burger an visit the company store and see the outside of “In-n-out University” not sure if you can visitVisited onWeekendWait timeUp to 10 minPrice for adult entryFree
Lot of history captured in this spot. I learned it's a replica of the #1 location that was diagonally across the street where the freeway pass currently stands and where In N Out operated a two lane location until the current one was built at the present location down the street. The museum is open Thursday thru Sunday. They also gave me some stickers too!

Visiting the In N Out Burger Museum was so much fun! It is a replica of the original location built in 1948 that was demolished when Interstate 10 was built. The attendant was so kind and very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about In N Out. I enjoyed it!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entryFree

If you're an In & Out fan, this is a "Must See"! What a great little outing for adults & kids. We got a great detailed tour by the on-site tour guide. She was so knowledgable & fun!! PS Don't forget to visit the In & Out University & Company Store around the corner for an awesome selection of cool stuff!
It's closed right now due to Covid but it was still neat seeing how the first In-N-Out Berger looked from behind the fence. My daughter loves In-N-Out and I thought it would be cool to stop and see the first one. She just turned 15 and was acting like this was a waste of time till we got there then she started smiling and actually wanted to take some pictures. We then went to the gift shop and got her a few things. She loves her T-Shirts. She thanked me for dragging her there cause she ended having fun. Also, if you go to see it. It's best to park by the gift shop "In-N-Out University" then walk down the sidewalk back under the bridge till you get to the replica. It's only a few minute walk.
