I am sad since I went here tonight about 7pm. I ordered a gluten free pizza, and when it came out I confirmed with the man who dropped it off that it was gluten free. I ate a slice and then got nervous, seeing the other pizzas around. I asked our server and she then told us it was in fact gluten regular pizza. I know mistakes can happen, but you should reply honestly when someone asks you about an allergy. If you don’t know that’s fine, just say that. I now have to take time off work as I have celiac disease. I took my boyfriend out for dinner and we ended up leaving, also having to pay the check for a dinner that is making me violently ill
Food: 4.5/5 Drinks: 5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Atmosphere: 3.5/5 Casual eatery / sports bar / karaoke bar. 1. Food Food is actually fantastic. It is more restaurant quality than bar quality. Highly recommend. The only criticism is I wish there was some vegetable component to the birria tacos. Maybe chopped onions or pickled red onions would have balanced the dish better. 2.Drinks Phenomenal. The mixologists here know their craft. Highly recommend the cranberry mule. Im sure their other cocktails will be brilliant too. 3.Service I think they may be understaffed or over loading tables to all the waiting staff. As the evening went on and the dining room filled up, we did not see our server for a long time and could see the poor girl was doing multiple large group tables. Had to wait a solid 20-25mins to ask for another drink and the check. Please hire more servers for your current staff. 4.Atmosphere It was nice and normal restaurant level noise until they blasted the sports channel later. I had to yell to my boyfriend who was sitting across from me in order for him to make out few of the words I said. Other diners seemed to be having the same problem too. The atmosphere could be better if TV noise could be turned down by 10-15. There are multiple over head speakers so diners who would like to watch can still hear the TV even if the volume is lower. Wheelchair accessibility: Has a ramp to the entrance however, I don’t believe there is a disabled parking spot nearby
Worst Restaurant Experience of My Life! I have been a weekly customer of Orleans for the past 8 years. On the evening of May 14th, 2024 all that changed. A misunderstanding regarding a food order led to an interaction with the manager of the restaurant during which he displayed incredibly unprofessional behavior. He raised his voice and swore at me, physically touched me while arguing with me, and was extremely condescending towards me. I contacted the ownership group of the restaurant to submit a formal complaint about the behavior of their restaurant manager. In this formal complaint I provided details of the interaction and I offered the contact info of the people who witnessed this interaction. The ownership group got back to me and told that they talked to their manager and that they are confident that the manager’s behavior won’t happen again in the future. The ownership group also said that they had never received this type of complaint about their manager in the past. Due to the severity of the display of unprofessional behavior of their manager, I feel obligated to share this review with the patrons of Orleans restaurant. I want to leave a public record about the awful behavior of their manager towards me so that if anyone experiences the same treatment in the future, you can see this review and know that this is not the first time that the manager displays unprofessional/awful behavior towards a customer. I would like to advise you to be aware that if the manager is having a bad day, you could experience an interaction similar to mine. If you want to avoid this possibility, please go somewhere else. You will save yourself from an awful dinning experience, probably the worst in your life, like the one I have experienced.
The food and drinks were great. It’s near Davis Square and the T Station. I haven’t eaten in this place for a long while now and so far everything is still
I went to Orleans with my girlfriend this Thursday to have drinks and apps to celebrate a promotion at work. We order a beer, a cocktail, wings and a gluten free pizza my girlfriend has celiac. When the pizza was dropped off we confirmed with the kitchen staff it was gluten free. After eating a slice my girlfriend became nervous as most gluten free pizza doesn’t taste that way. When our server came back we asked her to double check with the kitchen. She stated that they made a mistake and would remake the pizza. At this point we asked for the check and needed to leave as my girlfriend has a very serious celiac allergy. I understand it is not the servers fault but she still made us pay the check. I am very disappointed, do not go here if you are worried about an allergy
I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always been good. The food is good, service is good, the atmosphere is good, and I’d recommend it as a solid choice for any occasion. Not too fancy, not too basic, not too eclectic, not too sports, not too expensive… just about right for anything.Food: 5/5
Came to the place for multiple occasions, group event, football games, and casual dining. The food was pretty good, wings, fried rices, burgers and pizza. The drink menu is average level, but should meet most people's need. The karaoke is the unique feature that no other place around Davis Square offers.
Menu and beer selections are superb. Recommend the sweet potato waffle fries.Food: 5/5
Big mistake for food. Frozen foods, powder mashed potatoes for 25 bucks. There is nothing soulful here other than the name. Having capital to open a restaurant is difficult for most, shame on u for not making a menu and misleading descriptions of the quality of this food.Food: 1/5
The food is good and space is open. The summer patio is shaded and comfortable. On a slower day, the staff seems to be short handed and slow, but friendly. The food is fresh and good. Just wish their burger was bit bigger for the price you pay.
