Library is cozy and staff is friendly.  Free computers and wifi for anybody to use inside.
The location does have a very high homeless population outside...

My family has been using this Library since we moved to Oroville in 1977. They have computers and internet for public use and a copying service for a fee. They also have a meeting room for the public and we have used it successfully for our club.

This library is small but convenient if your'e short on time. However, they start flashing the lights on and off 20-30 minutes to closing. It is rude and very annoying. Not to mention someone could trip.

It doesn't speed anybody up away. In fact, it takes them longer to find the book they are looking for when the lights are flashing on and off all of the time. I would understand them flashing the last 5 minutes, as they have a schedule to keep. But come on, 20 minutes?

Good books

This is a great library. It's very small compared to others but not considering the size of Oroville. Many real books still, computer access, printer and helpful librarians. Normally very quiet as well.
