I can't speak for this company as a sit down cafe, however, if you're looking just to order a tea or coffee to-go, I'd recommend avoiding this place and going with Coffee Connection, or even a chain instead. They don't have any specialty coffees or teas, it's literally just a handful of Starbucks products. Additionally, the staff is typically rude and unhelpful. Apparently, it's asking them too much to pour coffee into a travel mug because they simply "wouldn't be able to determine the price." I'll stick with your competitors, thanks. Edit: Upon returning a second time, I discovered that they do in fact have a tea menu. I'm not sure why an employee would have told me the first time that they only have Tazo. The tea was good, however, the service was no better than my original visit.

The Cinnamon Raisin toast is awesome. You can Share an order. It's big....and delicious. And, don't forget to take a loaf home for yourself.

Completely disappointed; really wanted to love this place and aesthetically, it was exactly what I was looking for to enjoy my future Sunday morning brunches with friends and family. However after standing there waiting an eternity while 3 waitresses-whom did acknowledge my presence with a good morning- to finish their conversation I went from wanting to sit down for breakfast to just getting tea to go and never go back again. Someone from the kitchen area popped out and asked if I was being assisted yet and instructed the girls to help me, but they returned to their conversation immediately upon that persons exit. I then got sassed by one of the girls after asking if they do not usually have walk in's for coffee/ bake goods and she snarked back she was just doing dishes and didn't know what was going on...she had been one of the 3 standing there all along. As to how I refrained from just walking out at that point I do not know. Lovely interior, delightful aromas, was not busy with maybe 5 or 6 tables filled. Lots of places to go in the area for dining and until professional staff is obtained here, not recommended.

Very cozy little place! The coffee was great, as was the homemade raisin bread. The staff were very friendly. I definitley plan to go back here at some point soon.

I went to the Tea Company this morning (Saturday) at around 10am. The restaurant was not packed, probably about 50% full. As I was alone, I figured I would sit at the counter to make tables available for groups. Apparently this was a foolish mistake on my part. My order was taken by a young male waiter. He brought my coffee in a few minutes. My food arrived in about 15 minutes. The food was not bad, cooked well, but nothing remarkable. No real complaints with the food. I have been here numerous times over the years and the food has always been fine. The main complaint is the service, which was completely non-existent. From the moment I received my food, not a single employee checked on me to see how I was doing, if I needed more coffee etc. My original male waiter was never to be seen again. To add insult to injury, three female waitresses were walking back and forth in front of me at the counter never once stopping to ask if I could use anything more. Instead they decided to fawn over the tray of recently delivered muffins for 10 minutes, literally 1 foot to the right of me. I walked to the checkout area to cash out. I asked the waitress why I was completely ignored at the counter, why they all passed by me like I was invisible. Her response, 'oh I am sorry would you like a coffee to go'. I declined as she had clearly missed the point. Waitstaff should be frequently checking to see how all patrons are doing, if they need drinks, if the food is alright etc. The service at this place is horrendous. Taking care of your customers at the counter should be the easiest spot to take care of in the house. Somehow the Oswego Tea Company managed to even screw that up. I will not come back to this restaurant, especially when there are much better breakfast places within 10 minutes driving distance (Wade's, Maria's, Foursome and Mimi's in Fulton) as well as vastly superior cafes right here in Oswego (Coffee Connection).
