I bought a 88 Lincoln Continental off of a friend of mine and after having it for a few weeks realized that the transmission was indeed going. Typical of the Taurus/Continental packages with the AXOD transmission. From the moment I called Our Daddys I was treated with respect and friendship. My vehicle is a unique problem and has taken an overly long time to be completed but Chris and Stephany have both been exemplary in there honesty and assistance. I have an 86 Camaro that I will be taking to them for some minor work also. I feel like I am part of the family atmosphere when I am there and I respect both of them for their work ethic and all they have done to work with me on getting my vehicle finished. i highly recommend them.

They told me I needed a complete trans rebuild and that it would take 2 days.

Day 1 Monday - Called and talked with Our Daddy's Customs & Transmission "ODCT" regarding doing the transmission on my vehicle. They were very polite and courteous.  ODCT said it would take a few days to rebuild the  transmission if that is what it needed. 

Day 2 Tuesday - ODCT received the vehicle and stated it needed a complete rebuild and would be a couple of days.

Day 4 Thursday - Called to see how the repair was going and ODCT said it should be ready tomorrow Friday.

Day 5 Friday - Called to see how the repair was going and ODCT said it should be ready tomorrow Monday.

Day 8 Monday - Called to see how the repair was going and ODCT said it should be ready tomorrow Tuesday.

Day 9 Tuesday - Called to see how the repair was going and ODCT said it should be ready tomorrow Wednesday.

Day 11 Thursday - Arranged for a truck and police protection to recover my vehicle for 4PM.  At first they said they were not done with the vehicle and they would not release it.  The police convinced them to release it, then ODCT said all they needed to do was put oil in it and test drive it then they would release it in an hour.  Two hours later they finished putting the oil in and took for a 5 minutes test drive. I paid their full repair price for a complete transmission rebuild.  AFter the test test, ODCT stated "there is good news and bad news".  The good news was that they were finished and the bad news was that vehicle had shift selenoid erros and was barely driveable.  They said I needed to leave it with them for another day.  I stated that I was taking the vehicle now and would take it to another shop to inspect and finish repairing the transmission.  This error is what they were fix to begin with.  ODCT was then not going to let me take my vehicle but the police intervened and allowed me to take my vehicle out of their shop.

Day 12 Friday - My vehicle has the same problem it started with and is being repaired in a reputable transmission shop. Costs are unknown at this time.

I have never been so insulted as a customer for simply requesting a day when I can get my vehicle back, especially since they had it 3 times longer than they first said the repair would take.

Please take this seriously. I have never felt so threatened as I have been with Our Daddy's Customs & Transmission. A neighboring business stated that this was at least the third time the police have been to their shop.  You can validate with the Troutdale police if they ever had to assist customers with this company.
