The design of this building is atrocious. We travel a fair amount and always find a local parish for Mass. Understandably, each location will not be exactly the same as our home parish. I went into this church this morning, and I just could not believe the design of it. There should be a certain feel one gets when walking into a Catholic Church, no matter the size, the location, the culture, the year built.....I did not feel it here.... All I found was grandeous architectural features and none of that feeling. As a Catholic this upsets me that whenever this parish decided to build this church, they spent so much time and money on all these ridiculous features that do nothing to make it a spiritual event....I could not even locate the Tabernacle....I believe it was the big gold egg in the wall. If visiting, choose St. John the Evangelist in Bellefonte if you can. A much more traditional building where you will feel at home. That's what I did this morning, as I walked in to Our Lady, saw the mess of design features that it was, and walked out and drove out of my way and delayed my day to go to St. John.... I understand this may sound harsh, and I know that once the building is built, it can't easily be changed, and maybe the parochial school there is wonderful. But this church building should be used as an example of how not to build new Catholic Churches in the future.

Odd design choices and it doesn't seem like the air circulates at all but I really enjoy the priests here more than most places I've been.
