1st time ever eating from outback was very excited to try the blooming onion. Waitress seemed to be a little agitated upon arrival. We ordered the blooming onion for a appetizer. But we also ordered our meals at the same time we also ordered the wings and told the waitress to have that come out with the meal. She wasn't listening they came out with the wings and the side order of chilli as appetizers no onion bloom until it was time to go! The food itself was amazing perfectly seasoned and juicy. I didn't get to try the onion that I wasted money on because I didn't want a nuked onion I wanted a crispy fresh 1 but maybe if I wanna make the 45 min drive again I might have to retry.

Our family enjoys Outback and most experiences are always good. But our recent experiences at this location was great! The food is always better than expected and this past visit, our server Leslie C. provided above and beyond patient and accommodating service. From frequent check ins to drink refills delivered before we asked to the timing of the apps and food being brought out, the moment we sat down to the moment we left, Leslie was very kind, attentive and exceptionally good at all aspects of our visit. Additionally the other servers that ran food out also made our experience that much more enjoyable. The manager also came around to all tables multiple times throughout making sure everything was above satisfactory for us. And it was. 5 stars across the board for atmosphere, service, food quality and overall experience. Thank you Outback Downers Grove!  Kid-friendliness: Made our kids feel right at home.

My husband and I visited the Downers Grove location Sunday afternoon.  We were immediately greeted at the door and seated. Our assigned server was Megan.  She  took our orders and returned with our beverages and food very quickly.  She was very attentive as well as the owner.  The food and service was exceptional.  We had the Tasmanian shrimp and scallop pasta,  over the top brussel sprouts and the blooming onions, which was sizzling hot.  It was a very enjoyable outing.  It's also kid friendly.  Can't wait to go back!

I've never been so disappointed in a meal in my life. Literally everything was horrible. Drink was advertised that you got a little koala with it to be honest the only reason I bought it  and yea...it was for sure a duck. Then out came the bloomin' onion..what could go wrong it's their specialty...as we picked away at it you could clearly see that it wasn't fully cooked and 60% of it was uncooked batter. Soup comes out. There is SO much salt it was inedible which good thing because before I could even move the dish, they were at the table side with our entrees.. I love prime rib and I will say the cook on it was perfect, but there was absoloutly no seasoning. My boyfriend on the other hand, his steak was great, potato was undercooked. To be honest I was a little surprised they didn't even ask if everything was okay, it clearly wasn't. Maybe if they weren't in such to push customers through they would have some quality food. Until then I wouldn't waste your money on any of their "prime" options.

I had the pleasure of dining at Outback Steakhouse recently and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.  The menu at Outback Steakhouse offers a wide range of delectable options, catering to all tastes and preferences. From their perfectly cooked steaks to their mouthwatering seafood dishes, each item on the menu is crafted with precision and attention to detail. The quality and freshness of the ingredients used are evident in every bite.  The service at Outback Steakhouse was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. They provided excellent recommendations and were able to accommodate special dietary requests without hesitation.  One aspect that stood out to me was the commitment to consistency. Outback Steakhouse consistently delivers on their promise of delicious food and exceptional service. Each visit is met with the same level of excellence, leaving customers satisfied and eager to return.  In addition to the outstanding food and service, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was delightful. The rustic decor, paired with soft lighting, created a cozy and inviting atmosphere that was perfect for a leisurely dining experience.  Overall, my experience at Outback Steakhouse exceeded all expectations.

We love outback. I was more surprised to see that they opened at 11:00. Normally in the city of Chicago they open late at about 3:00 pm . So BIG PLUSSS

Fantastic service yesterday for an early dinner from Russell W. !  He is patient, personable and knowledgeable about the menu.     Had the steak salad - the blue cheese dressing was phenomenal - one of the best dressings I've ever tasted.  A very hearty portion of steak thin cut and cooked just right on the salad.  Wife ordered the chicken salad and it was good but sweeter than savory.  Yes it's a chain but this location at least runs very well!  Kudos.
