My wife and I love a good steak and usually have a great experience, but the food today was just average. The side salad and the clam chowder were both good but not great. The "steamed" veggies that arrived with my steak were soggy and arrived sitting in a bath of liquid on the plate. It made the seared bottom portion of my steak too moist. Our server was very polite and was attentive to our need for drink refills. The restaurant appeared clean but the laminate wood looked floor were very slippery and and in some places sticky on the bottom of my shoes. I almost witnessed the gentleman sitting in the booth across from us slide on the slippery floor and fall onto the floor while attempting to get out of his booth. I acted quickly and got up just in time to help him regain his balance. Accidental fall avoided.
Have visited several times, each time, no complaints. Service is always great, drinks are good and so is the food. I forgot how nice their menu is compared to other places.
So my only 2 complaints are the bloomin onion was the size of a shallot lol. Also they made up for it with the size of my baked potato. However, they should have put more toppings on the potato. Once the tiny drop of sour cream was gone and the 2 kernals of bacon and the 3 shreds of cheese, I still had a perfectly good baked potato left but was sooo plain. Our waiter was great.
This is a Great Place to have a meal... when you want to get away from it all and feel like your on Vacation in Australia visiting Crocodile Dundee... You even see the knife he used sticking out of the Freshly Baked Pumpernickel Break... SO GOOD... And then came the Coconut Shrimp... ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC... Followed by the Main Meal... Outback Ribs with Mashed Potatoes and Fresh Vegetables... And all of it topped off by an Outback Dark Beer... I was too full for desert... I will get that... the next time... Oh... and I once again... had several Lovely Waitress's helping me... THANK YOU FOR YOU HELP... I had never been there before.
Ordered takeout, said it would be ready by 8:30, sat in the parking lot til 8:50. Got home and the Togo person forgot one of our sides. Went back to get it, no apology. Food was cold, loaded mashed potatoes were missing bacon. Alice Springs chicken was dried out and hard. The place wasn’t busy, even went inside and saw only one other order on the screen. Oh and they forgot my dipping sauce. As someone in this industry Incan forgive something like this if togo was ten screens back and a full dining room. This was ridiculous
Risk of food poisoning! Don’t eat here! On Dec 31st at 7:33pm I picked up my to go food, drove back home to find both of my “well done/ No pink” steaks looked like salmon on the inside, forgot my appetizer and bread was poor. For someone who doesn’t eat anything but we’ll done I could of gotten extremely sick. To call back and complain was another task, 27 calls 20 minutes of just ringing with no one to answer. Finally got someone explained and went back, they tried to CHARGE me $70 again!!!! No no no, YOU messed up, not my credit card. Went back home and find out they forgot my sides and this time the food was almost burnt no pink but guess what….. the steak had a old taste to it!!!! I will update this if I end up with bowl issues, I HIGHLY suggest eating elsewhere where they DON’T cut corners just to get food out. I understand being busy but throwing food out just to catch up is how people get sick very quickly. What a horrible way to end 2022, I will be cooking my own steaks at home starting the new year! Score: 0/10 I would avoid at all costs
Carry-out Ribeye meal. The steak did NOT appear at all to be a Ribeye. It was riddled with gristle and fat. It was drowned in pepper I believe to hide to poor flavor I struggled to cut 1/4 of it, but the gristle was too much for my best steak knife. Outback - NEVER AGAIN!
Been a while since we have been to outback. The food was really good. Service was pretty good. I think our server had more area than he could handle though. He was nice and got our order just as we asked. My wife and father in law both have very specific diets. Anywhere we go, they order food without many things or things on the side to work with what they can eat. This requires the server to write down a lot of notes to get it right. One thing we all enjoy at Outback is whatever they put in the salad dressings to make them have a bit of heat. Of course the rest of the food is great, but we drive 40 minutes for that salad dressing... and potato soup.
Really great time. The food was done to perfection. It arrived just the way we ordered it. The drinks were fun and the server wad engaging. She kept us entertained without being obnoxious. Prices were about $2.00 lower then we expected. We will be back soon. Outback!! Parking: Plenty! Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, expected.
Non waiter person brought one glass of water for a table of 5 and walked away. Never brought more waters. Then the same person gave our blooming onion to the table next to us. That family of 8 dug in ate it without even say hey we just sat down it’s not ours. The waitress was over worked so couldn’t check in on her tables to know ww never got our onion. The food took forever but we didn’t want the onion on the house and not eat our steak we were starving by then and wanted to enjoy the dinner at that point. The app was to pick at. Bread was also slow due to high demand of waitress. Good thing i got my dad that HUGE steak he devoured it. Was very delicious. The onion just ruined there first experience. But really what kind of people don’t say hey that’s not our food and start eating it.
