The "star" rating of 2 is due to overall experience.

I called Overhead Door to come over and look at a garage door opener that was not working.  The service technician that came to the house was extremely knowledgeable and professional.

He told me that the motherboard for the opener was beyond repair and that a new motherboard part was not available, so I would have to get a new operator.  He gave me all of the usual options, do it yourself, buy the operator and have them install or just get the operator from them and have them install it.

I opted to get the operator from them and have them install it.  Because I have two door operators and I didn't want to deal with two different remotes, I asked him to replace the other door opener as well.

From my perspective, the service technician received 4 stars and I remove one star only because he made a huge assumption that I did not want the old openers.  When he finished the job he took them with him.

That night, my husband and I noticed that he did not leave the openers - so first thing the next morning, I called the shop and asked them to locate the openers and return them.

The person that answered the phone said she'd check in the back and then get back to me.  I never heard back from them.

When it came time to pay my invoice, I included a note and explained how disappointed I was that my property was taken without my consent.  I also explained that no one ever got back to me.  Not surprised, I still have not heard back from the company -- even to express the fact that they might be "sorry" it happened or to offer some type of discount.

So, the reason I give them a two star rating is simply because the leadership of the organization must not value the customer at all.  If they did, then their employees - which are the most visible part of your image would have cared enough to AT LEAST call me back.

Won't use them again...
