I have been going to this joint for more than 2 decades. Food, service, cleanliness has never changed. Quality and price: GREAT. 
Their menu is varied and no matter your choice you can never go wrong. Love their burgers and omelets.

Had a lovely lunch at The Overland cafe, although I've definitely had much better at it's price point.  

First of all, it was very hard to find.  It's a very hole-in-the-wall kind of place in appearance on the outside at least, and doesn't have very good signage, so it was hard to find.  But I had seen it on an article about best brunch spots in Los Angeles, so I decided to give it a go.  

The inside of the cafe is much different from the exterior, and is very trendy and clean.  They have slightly expensive prices to go along with that trendiness as well.

We didn't do the $8 unlimited champagne with our brunch, which I suspect is its main drawing point.  The food itself was definitely just okay.  It was a decent meal, but a bit pricey with the burgers and pasta, especially with the level of quality.  If I'm paying $15 for a burger, I expect something delicious.  This was good, but not incredible.  A lot of the food could've done with some better seasoning and salt, especially the pasta.  The vegetable soup that came with the pasta was visually appealing and a tasty and healthy addition to the meal, however.  

The service we received was great, very sweet waitress.  The food was okay, but still provided a lovely meal.  The prices were a bit much though, considering its lower quality than other brunch places in the area I've been to.  All in all, I'd consider it a rather average experience.

A nice an quiet place to have dinner. Food it's really good . Breakfast it's also really good. I been coming to overland cafe since 2008. A place to enjoy with the family

Walking distance from our place. Like to go here for late night happy hour. Nice rotating craft beer selection. Saturday/Sundays can be fun in a group. Too loud for me personally.

Unlimited champagne brunch is a good price. Price only includes the champagne, you have to buy any mixers such as OJ separately. 2hr limit but during that time they were quick at replacing bottles
