Went to Owens’s Pub on 7-28-22 at around 7:30pm. The place was already packed and it was a 30 minute wait. We decided to wait the 30 minutes. They did have a guy there singing for folks to enjoy if that is your thing. They have specials everyday of the week! For an appetizer I ordered the BBQ wings. You get 8 for $8.99. Wings came out nice and hot. These tasted amazing. BBQ was a wet sticky sauce which isn’t what I’m used to but I loved the sauce! I definitely recommend! For my meal, I ordered the Thursday night special which was a cheeseburger for $3.95. I also ordered Old Bay Fries with the burger which was $5.99. Honestly didn’t know what to expect from the burger, but I was surprised on how good it was! The old bay fries were amazing. Plenty of seasoning on them and cooked perfectly! I definitely recommend as well! Not going to lie, service was a bit slow, but they were packed as first mentioned above. This is a CASH ONLY pub and there are NO FREE REFILLS on soft drinks. They hand write your order down with prices so please make sure to check it over because our waitress made a mistake and charged me full price for the cheeseburger that was on special. She of course corrected. I still give Owen’s Pub 5 stars even with the slow service and is a must eat for people on vacation to Wildwood!
Owen's pub is by far a local and visitors favorite restaurant. The staff is friendly, the prices are fair, and the food quality is always consistently delicious. You can see the quality with everything that comes out of the kitchen. If they can make it in house they do, from a fresh white queso sauce to home made chips for their nachos to pair with it. The weekly specials are always great and paired with a cold draft beer or soda there are always friendly faces and great moments for the whole family to enjoy.
So disappointed in Owen’s tonight. The waitress was miserable and very unfriendly. Did not come to us once to ask how food was or if we needed anything. The chicken was completely overdone and inedible. When trying to get payment ready, the waitress basically snatched it and walked off. We only left a small tip due to the horrible service. When we walked outside, The waitress hurried to the door and yelled at us. Would never return and will make sure to let others know how bad Owens has become. Met people in the parking lot who were also complaining about their experience.

Good food, good Wait Staff Thai Rocks, very fair prices, good beverages, plenty of parking, clean bathrooms, nice atmosphere. But PLEASE be aware...credit cards are not accepted. Cash needed. There is an ATM machine on premises.
Stop on a Thursday night for their Burger or prime rib sandwich special. Clearly the place was packed. The service was less than I would have expected from such a staple restaurant in Wildwood. The waitress that was working who seemed experienced was clearly out of her League. Had difficulty explaining what she might have on the bar for us Bourbons and continued to push the everyday Bourbons. Only four people and to drink water managed to get messed up. The food order despite five orders of the special managed to get screwed up to the point that for dinners would delivered and one person got to wait while everybody else ate. The specials were exactly what they said you got the sandwich or the burger and a bag of chips. Expected more highly disappointed.
Owen's pub is a fantastic local establishment with great drink deals, cheap food deals, and wonderful staff. Every interaction we had during lunch and happy hour with 3 bartenders were great. We came back later in the week for dinner and it was packed! The food was worth the wait, everything was fresh and delicious! Really, you can't go wrong with their menu, just be aware as many reviews advise, you need cash!!
Went on a Thu when they had a $3.95 burger night. Can't beat that price for a pub burger, and it was good. Only catch is you have to get a drink with the special, but why would you go to a pub and not get a drink. They have other special nights that look like good deals, might try to go back on those nights. Plenty of TVs to watch college and pro games. Place was packed, we waited about 10 minutes for a table. Also, be aware that this is a cash only bar/restaurant, hence 4 stars instead of 5.
Our multi-family vacation tradition continued at Owen's Pub last week.. 19 strong!!! Great dinner and great service... Loved the new outdoor area!!! and Jackie is the best!!!!
Great place!!! My wife and I were there on burger night. The place was packed. The service was awesome. The burgers were very good. We also had apps that were delicious. They also had a nice drink menu. Bonus: They say "thank you". I highly recommend. I will be back the next time I'm in town.
