A wonderful, old time restaurant that takes you back in time! The food is amazing, especially the green Chile cheese burger. Fresh made and cut French fries and a wonderful staff! It's a must see/go to place anytime you are in the area. You can get a drink from the full bar and it's on the way to Ruidoso from Albuquerque, so an even better reason to stop in! Many famous people have passed through the doors, so don't forget to say Hi!

The place was packed when we went, but still only had to wait MAYBE 10 minutes for enough space for 7. Very friendly staff, good food, and well priced. I know it's a place that is talked about by all the locals so had to try it... And was impressed! Felt like hanging out at a family reunion in a sense with the atmosphere.

staff was super friendly and welcoming, drinks were cold, and the green chili cheeseburger was off the chain!!! be advised: if you get chicken strips bring your own bbq sauce or honey mustard.

Very best green chile cheeseburger in NM.  Very cool, rustic atmosphere. Place hasn't changed in over 50 years. Worth the trip to San Antonio.

This was a typical small town bar and grill. It's in San Antonio, New Mexico and I don't even think 500 people live there. They serve mostly hamburgers and fries. There is are a bunch of vintage owl decorations and visitors tack dollar bills on the walls, leaving messages, prayer request, dedications, etc... The little old lady that owns it still waits on people twice a week. You literally have to eat here because it's one of two options in the town! Lol
