Beautiful park to walk through and enjoy a cool morning or breezy afternoon. Paths can get flooded after a good rain so be prepared. Trails get right up to the river and the elevation has some good variance by the river. Trails can be a bit on the plane side when staying near the interior but are rather interesting when venturing further out. Bug spray is not a bad idea too.

It’s free. Center is well maintained and kid friendly. Trails were well maintained. The greeter was old man friendly. Bathrooms are on the outside of building and clean. River otter canoe launch is a romantic spot. 😘

I only had a short time to visit but look forward to going back to explore the other trails. Kids would have a great time here with lots of things to learn and do.
