It's a basic burger and dog place.  The food is good and the service is friendly.  The decor is old but they keep the place very clean.  Great to support a long time local small business.

ABSOLUTELY FOUL! I must admit, there was a time when the food at Moondoggie's was actually very good. Unfortunately they really let the place go! I went a while back and the restaurant smelled very strongly of diarrhea. Since that day I vowed never to eat there again. Actually, I returned one day in August 2012 because my brother and his friend wanted to eat there (WHY?!), but I walked to a different restaurant nearby and ate there instead. After finishing my food, I walked to Moondoggie's but my brother and his friend were still eating. Needless to say, the inside of the restaurant still smelled like diarrhea, albeit not as strong as the previous time I was there. It was still nasty though. And for the record, I don't buy the notion that total dives, that the dumpiest restaurants, could still have decent (let alone excellent) food. Whenever anyone tells me that they believe that a local "greasy spoon" has (or possibly can have) great food, I state what a croc that is. I'm sorry, the upkeep and cleanliness of your facility is an indication of your competence as a restauranteur. If your place is dirty, filthy, and in the case of Moondoggie's, stinks like diarrhea, that reflects poorly on your establishment. I don't care how good their food once was.

I had the ribs and they were good. Friendly staff and nice dining area. It reminds you of being in an old fashioned eating place.

I had the Moondoggie Burger. It was mediocre even though I took some stuff off cause I'm picky. IT DIDN'T EVEN COME WITH FRIES! Before I had my food I went to use the bathroom. It was absolutely horrid smelling. Then I got my food after that and just it wasn't worth the hype of the name.
