This place is my go to spot when I feel like eating Thai food. I always get their tom yum noodle which has the perfect balance of meaty flavor and sourness, their pad thai, and lastly, pepper and garlic ground pork with sticky rice. The pork dish is so addicting! I’ve tried this with regular pork and crispy pork, but ground pork suits the best with the seasoning.
I recently dined at this Thai spot, and my experience was a mixed bag. The highlight of the noon was undoubtedly the delicious food, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. The younger servers were really nice but the one with glasses who took our take out orders, I think she was having a bad day. I’d love to leave five but still the food was really good.
The food is a culinary delight. Not only is it incredibly tasty, but the prices are also very reasonable. Each dish is an explosion of authentic Thai flavors, and the portions are always generous. It’s a fantastic balance of exquisite taste and affordability. What adds to the charm of this place is the exceptional service. The staff is unfailingly warm and attentive, making you feel like an honored guest. They’re more than willing to offer suggestions and even customize dishes to your liking. If you’re a Thai cuisine enthusiast, this restaurant is a hidden treasure in LA. It consistently provides an exceptional dining experience, and I find myself returning time and again. Don’t miss out on this culinary gem!
Multiple food blogs have lauded this spot as having some of the best boat noodles in LA, and so my sister and I had to check it out. Came here for lunch on a Saturday around 2pm and there was no wait. There’s a small parking lot with some dedicated spots for other businesses, so be mindful of signage. Otherwise, there’s metered street parking. We ordered the crispy rice salad, pork boat noodles, and pad Thai. You can customize the spice level and we went with a medium for the boat noodles, and mild for the Pad Thai which was still on the spicier side. We asked for the boat noodles to come with no pork liver but a couple of balls still snuck through, which was fine since we saved them for our dad. The broth was very umami and you also get to pick the type of noodles you’d like. The crispy rice salad came with a lot of pork and had cut cabbage on the side for you to mix yourself. The food came out quickly and was very tasty. They do accept credit cards now although you can still bring cash. There’s one single occupant restroom available in the back through the back door. They’ll bring your check when ready and you go up to the counter to pay. Overall, a super tasty restaurant with boat noodles that are hyped for a valid reason.
Drunken noodles and tom yum soup not pictured were the BEST! We also got the pan fried catfish which was good! Small parking lot for the complex
I’ve been here more than 10 years ago. They maintains their food consistency to taste delicious every time unlike other thai restaurants. Tom yum noodles is my favorite. The crispy pork basil over rice with a fried egg is amazing! Make sure to get extra crispy pork. It’s worth it.Food: 5/5
The food was awesome. Original dishes I had never experienced. The mild pho was very spicy for mild. Absolutely delicious though, I have weird stomach issues unfortunately that make it difficult for me to do spice but that’s not on them! Our service was very quick and nice. The restaurant looked very clean. Thank you!Food: 5/5
As a fan of Thai food, I highly recommend this place. I ordered boat noodles, spicy catfish, shrimp cake, and crispy pork with Chinese Broccoli. All of them were great. If you can't eat spicy food, don't come here. I suggest that you should go with a mild level of spicy if you normally order Medium in other restaurants. The price is not high. One time I came here in a group of 7. We are a lot but the bill was $175 including 15% of the tips they automatically charge 15% on the bill. Will come back.
Best Thai in the area. Been here many years ago in La Brea but still the best. The chicken curry is excellent, generous portion, savory and authentic. The basil stewed pork leg was very good but it would be nice to get less fatty parts. When you ask for spicy hot, they delivered spicy hot. Will come back soon!
Great food and excellent service. Very friendly waitress. The Tom yum soup with noodles was so savory. It had so many different ingredients and was highly authentic. I also had the pad see ew which was good. Be careful. The mild spicy level is actually spicy.
