This is not the pharmacy it used to be!
I use to be a very loyal customer of Pacific Compounds Pharmacy, for years I used them. I used to tell anyone who would listen how amazing they are and how they really care about their patients. The pharmacist Lincoln is such a knowledgeable and nice guy, and the girls on the phone, especially Jannel and Beth, were always so helpful and friendly. But now they have closed and everything is different. The staff I love is no longer working for this new pharmacy, or as they call it, their sister pharmacy. The prices are different. When I called before to get a price quote from Lloyd Center  Pharmacy in the past their prices were way higher than Pacific Compounds which is why even though I live close to them I’ve always gotten my prescriptions in Hillsboro (where I work). Now I’m quoted a price a little higher than Pacific but not as high as I was quoted before, this makes me wonder how long before I’m forced to pay more?... They say they have the same people working for them but when I picked up a prescription at the end of August none of the 5 employees I spoke with including Lincoln seemed to be going to the new location. It seems to me that most if not all of the staff from Pacific Compounds were a little upset when I went in that last time. It makes me sad to think that the employees probably lost their jobs. When you call for a refill it sounds like a call center answers, you can hear lots of chatter and it’s a different person every time. That’s probably why their processing time is longer than the old pharmacy too. I will be looking for another pharmacy, I don’t care for the new pharmacy it’s just not the same.

The staff here are on it!  I had to get a prescription transferred to another state and my local pharmacy was dragging their feet on requesting my prescription from Pacific so I called Pacific back and they offered to make the call to get my prescriptions transferred.  They are very prompt and will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.  Remarkable!!!  Wish I could stay with them but not in Oregon so it's not an option for me but don't hesitate to use this business...great service!

Something has changed for the worse with this pharmacy.  Along with a move to a new location there has been alot of pressure from what appears to be a call center.  I suspect that it has been bought by a larger business interest that is looking to increase its profit.  I've had my prescription filled here for over 9 years with no problems.  Recently I have began to receive annoying calls from a person first asking permission to contact my doctor to discuss my prescription under the guise of improving the quality of the product.  Latter the same women called again questioning me as to how often and how and how much I use saying that I don't refill as often as they would expect.  I could hear alot of persons in the background all talking.  It sounded like a call center.  The person who called insisted that she is part of my healthcare team.  I corrected her saying that she is not part of my health care team and that the pharmacy fills and sells a product based on what my doctor prescribed.  I told her also that how he prescribes and how well I follow his directions is between him and I and that her true purpose is clearly for marketing purposes.   Also I said that if she continued to bother me I would look elsewhere for my prescription.  She insisted that she has a right to ask these personal questions and that she won't fill a prescription unless she is involved in my healthcare.  As she became argumentive and wouldn't stop insisting on getting involved in my personal healthcare I hung up the phone.  I am calling the Oregon State Atorney Generals Office tomorrow to complain.
