If you look up dive-bar in the dictionary, they show you a picture of this pub. Dingy bar, tobacco stained walls, barely enough room to fit 15 people and lots of people drinking swill alcohol at cheap for the area prices. In other words, it's perfect. Note: if you are going here expecting it to be an exact replica of Always Sunny then you will be disappointed. If you go looking for a true dive experience then you can clearly see how the Always Sunny creators lovingly got their inspiration from this place.

the first thing i noticed about paddys pub was its charm, it has none! there was an ominous feeling that you could get stabbed at any moment. When i ordered a glass of wine not only did the surly white trash waitress refuse to make it but she proceeded to call me a word that i cannot say in this review i was forced to listen to the 3 classless boars who called themselves the owners get drunk and yell over each other all night having reviewed every in philidelphia i hereby officially declare paddys pub to be the worst bar in philly!!!

Katie by far the best bartender in the city. She's absolutely hysterical too 🤩

Typically styled Irish bar, with a great choice of beers, and some really friendly regulars. But the highlight of the experience was Katie. An absolute lady and a credit to the trade, she poured some wonderful Guinness (incl shamrock at no extra charge). She was ever fun, chatty, and attentative.

No frills corner bar that is the site that the show is based from. Not filmed in. Bartender was very cool and according to him, the mayor of philly walked by while we were in there and he poked his head in and spoke. I still don't know if he was pulling out leg or not. Worth a stop.
