The Padelford Riverboats have operated on the Mississippi River since 1970. Our fleet the Jonathan Padelford, Anson Northrup, and Betsey Northrup cruise April through October from Harriet Island near Downtown St. Paul.

A magical evening on the river! We did the Margaritas cruise. Great taco bar. We splurged on the jumbo (and I mean JUMBO) Margarita. You get to keep the glass. Walls of glass windows make sure you don't miss a thing. Then up top to watch the St. Paul skyline at sunset. Beautiful.

My wife and I had such a pleasant and relaxing experience tonight.  We had the late night Beer and Blues Cruise.  The music was terrific and although we are not beer drinkers, the bar was open and generous!

We highly recommend this cruise for anyone who needs to kick back, relax and see the great St. Paul skyline at night while enjoying a drink and some really good music.  Don't miss this wonderful opportunity.

Had such a great time on the Margarita Cruise! It was a fun way to celebrate a family member's birthday. The staff was great - helpful and friendly. I will absolutely recommend the cruise to friends (including you...the person reading this review)!

The Padelford Packet company offers a number of sightseeing and entertainment cruises on the Mississippi River. I have taken the sightseeing cruise a number of times, and enjoyed it each time. The top deck is open and the lower deck is closed, so it can be enjoyed no matter what the weather. We see eagles on nearly every cruise, as well as egrets, ducks and other risidents of the river. The sightseeing cruises last 90 minutes and leave daily at noon and 2:30. A taped narration shares historical information and anecdotes. There is a full bar onboard, however food choices on the sightseeing cruises are limited to hot dogs, popcorn and other snacks. Evening and weekend cruises offer more food choices. Mondays offer a special fare of $8.00 per passenger. This cruise is well worth your time and money.

There are two bars to sell concessions.  They choose to only have one open so the line is long the entire ride. The front doors slam loudly every time they close.  How much us a door closer?  Do the Monday  $10 special,  that's all it's really worth.
