Everyone there is so kind, the food is amazing! The gluten free accommodations are wonderful. We bought the tea before we left because of how much we loved it. 10/10 recommend. Dietary restrictions: The gluten free versions have way more thought put into them than other tea places we’ve been too. So much love goes into the cooking and baking here.
I took my 7 year old God Daughter for a tea party and it was simply beautiful. Nicely decorated and they give you a plate filled with sandwiches, scones, jellies, etc. a very nice experience ! Parking: There is a small parking lot attached to the tea house to accommodate the number of guest booked at the tea house Kid-friendliness: Extremely kid friendly! A beautiful experience for children!
my daughter , another daughter and a friend and I have visited The Painted Tea Cup several times and have always been delighted whether it’s high tea, St Patrick’s day dinner or Mother’s Day’s brunch we have always been delighted. The food is always delicious and the service is outstanding. I previously enjoyed tea at the first location which was very nice and this location is just as lovely. Not only for the food but also for the beautiful gift shop. From jewelry, to accessories, tea and so many other gift items you will find just the perfect gift.
So cute! I don’t know why this the first tie I have been here but this place is adorable. Ladies, it’s tea time! Bring your friends! I will say that there could be more tea options for that price. Two tea choices I would say 3 or 4 choices per party would be more appropriate for the price. Otherwise, love everything else!!!! The tea sandwiches, Yum! Especially the one with the pickled radish! And the little cookies! My pinky is coming out just thinking about that delightful experience. Love it! Thank you! Parking: A few spots. Try to get there early to see if you can get a spot when someone is pulling out
Always a lovely experience and very accommodating. The food looks delicious and tastes delicious! Their selections change and are varied. Never boring.Food: 5/5
This place is literally like a warm nostalgic hug for your soul. It’s “old school” afternoon tea in the very best way. Everything is homemade and incredibly delicious. The women running this place are so kind and seem so happy just to be there. It’s like being loved on by your mom/grandma here. The vibe is perfect- you could dress up or be casual and still fit right in. Very relaxing atmosphere even though it’s got plenty of little fancy touches. I love it and I will definitely be back!
What a wonderful place! Went here for my birthday with a few of my gal-pals. So many tea selections, it was hard to just pick two. The tea sandwiches and whatnots were of the perfect proportion. I was expecting tiny bites, but they out did themselves! Dessert was spectacular as well! Can’t say enough about this place. We will definitely be coming back! One thing to note, the parking lot is not the best to navigate and it is small! I’d suggest carpooling if possible.
The food was really good, as was the 3 selections of tea. My British friend said it reminded her of home. Service was a tad slow, but to be fair, we had a large sitting. We plan on going back!Food: 5/5
Absolutely love this place. My mom and I come here and it’s a great place to sip tea and “spill tea” if you know what I mean! Great food, great tea. Best in the area for sure!Food: 5/5
I use to come here a least 2xs a year before COVID, it's nice to be back. Very comfortable atmosphere with a group of girlfriends. The servers are always pleasant & accommodating. I enjoy the various items to purchase for myself or as gifts. Today's event was for a gathering for MS society. Parking: Get there a little earlier than your event. Wheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp on the out, from the parking lot that goes to the porch & There's a rest-room that's easy to access for those with walkers or wheelchairs on the 1st floor.
